combination hidden

combinations in chess are forced series of moves that lead to crazy or to a decisive advantage. They are characterized by tactical reasons (King helpless, the woman who suffers from space, a piece that is pushed forward and can not fall, the eighth cross low, the penetration of the pieces behind enemy lines, etc.) and recurring themes (I double check, the discovered attack, the row, nailing, etc.). They are made by focusing on the idea that identifies the first move of the series as a function of all elements analyzed. But there is also the hidden combination, much rarer than the others but just as beautiful and surprising. What follows is a splendid example.
Grunfeld Defence [D86]

really seems that the black woman has no houses to shelter.

But has the winning move available. Combining hidden! We say hidden because Black does not really attack the white, there are motifs and themes to identify a combination .. yet there is a great victory over the move to Black: 14 ...
