Reportage from the tournament
From the great little chess journalist Nataraj Malescusi receive which we gladly publish this article:
EDITION 2011: TOURNAMENT INTERPROVINCIAL
year's interprovincial tournament renowned linking the provinces of Florence and Prato, began January 28, 2011 and ended Jan. 30. E 'was organized by the President of the circle of New Routes Paul Fini and the President's circle of Giulio Marmili Prato. As in past years was also skillfully managed by our referee Luca Bariani who enforced the rules with class and role. The weather was sunny and nice and the games room Spacious and well prepared.
Participants were numerous, as many as 37 chess players of all ages.
The two organizers offered two plates for their respective provincial championships and several medals including, in addition to the band for the premiums, which accounted for three: the first woman
classified, Giulia Cangioli entered the circle of New Routes; the award for the best NC, assigned to Thomas Volpi circle of Prato, the first medal for the U16 assigned to me the circle of Peretola, and finally a reward for the winner of the tournament Giulio Marmili that in this case has also taken the plate for the sample the province of Prato. A promotion of Florence was the provincial champion Marco Gori Signa for the second consecutive year. Third place overall was the DLF Simone Garofalo.
Now that I've finished explaining the champions of the tournament, I want to show a game played with commitment and effort, against a second national final round. This shows how wrong you can lose one of the last move after so much suffering in the best position to read. This tournament has made me aware once again of how the game that unites us claiming a perpetual effort in the match and did not admit a lack of energy mainly toward the latest moves. The harsh law of the failure is always lurking, so eye at the time, the board and the nervous system.
