E 'in most cases male, thirty years old, graduated, single, drinks a few times a month and often added to alcohol to drugs, mostly cocaine: this seems to be an identikit of new abusers of alcohol, which means those who, at the wheel of his car while drunk, would be the source of many incidents which has more and more news in the media. The data are from a database of the University of Naples, collected in a period of ten years on a sample of two thousand patients. This type of abuse is quite different from that of the alcoholic, who drinks every day and is a real employee, which is unlikely to cause road accidents than driving for some time. The phenomenon is booming, in fact in ten years, the abusers have doubled from 20% to 40% of all patients examined. The typology of abusers has changed: If the beginning of the research were generally 45, included in a social good, with a family and a job, today the average age has dropped to 43 and one in three is a multi-drug abusers, ie melee alcohol and drugs. Most abusers belongs the male, but in females the disease is present in more severe: the women came to drink even even cologne.
