Children who witness physical abuse to their mothers may experience to serious emotional and behavioral problems with often unpredictable consequences in charge of their own mental health. The study, conducted in the U.S. about 2020 households, showed that mothers who reported serious abuses made by their partners reported behavioral problems in children 4 to 14 anni.Ciò that was found more in children of these abused women, had higher rates of depression, anxiety and aggression that most likely were related to the fact that they abused mothers were more frequently aggressive towards children and inflicting corporal punishment. However, the study shows that there is a finding of cause and effect due to being witnessed abuse.
